WP7 Development Tip of the Day: Upgrading your app from the Beta tools to the RTM tools

by brad 6. October 2010 15:06

I would guess that most people have already downloaded the RTM Windows Phone 7 development tools, but if procrastinated like me, then this may be of help to you.

When you open your beta-tool-developed applications with the rtm tools, it will most likely not compile.  If that’s the case, then all you need to do is follow the simple instructions available in the release notes to get back on track.

The changes hit WMAppManifest.xml, App.xaml, and App.xaml.cs.  Overall, not too bad.
